Avon Voices for Global Online Singing Contest

Avon Products, Inc. has launched “Avon Voices,” its first-ever global online singing talent search and songwriting competition in celebration of its 125th anniversary.

Nearly two hundred chosen global contenders will receive professional coaching, Avon makeovers, and the opportunity to record their own professionally produced album.

The judging panel will be music industry leaders from around the world – including Fergie (pictured above), six-time Grammy award winner, Diane Warren, legendary songwriter, Natasha Bedingfield, Grammy nominated singer and songwriter, Lea Salonga, Filipina singer and actress; Russian sensation Valeriya.

Throughout the year, music will be available for digital download in certain markets, with a percentage of proceeds supporting the Avon Foundation for Women’s Global Campaign to end violence against women and girls.

The online singing talent search is open to women who can participate by choosing a song from the website and submitting a video. The songwriting competition is open to both men and women by writing an original song.

The company says everyone can be a part of the excitement by voting online for their favorite contenders and being a talent scout and recruiting those they know.

    Yaye I cant wait is it possible to enter if you have two kids and one on the way? =) I am busy with my kids and my husband who serves in the US ARMY but I have ALWAYS sang and wrote music in my not so busy days and have always wanted to pursue it.
