Congress president Rahul Gandhi unleashed another attack today on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its parent organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) when he said BJP and RSS have no respect for women.

He was addressing a large crowd of women who had come to attend the Mahila Adhikar Sammelan (women’s rights conference) organized by Mahila Congress, the women wing of Congress.

The Congress president promised that he will give 50% representation to women in the party, adding that women will have to earn their place with their contribution.

He also said that RSS which has a remote control of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s BJP cannot give such a respect to women as the doors are shut for women in RSS.

Quoting a recent incident of mass rape of minor girls in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi said that Modi is sitting silent instead of taking action to save women in the country. Today, he said, women are scared to go out of their homes.

The Congress president said today India looks like a train driven to disaster by an autocratic, incompetent, and arrogant driver (Modi) who does not care about the passengers (people of India).

In a series of tweets that Congress released today, Rahul Gandhi said India’s secular and democratic fabric is under threat today under Modi government, and protecting it is the need of the hour.

“Now people of the country need change because Modi government has shattered the hopes of the people,” Rahul Gandhi stated.
