Jonalee White Releases Sophomore Album ‘Sugar’

Lick Records is releasing Sugar today, Tuesday, August 31. The single, “Naked As Fools,” from the CD, which hit No. 27 at country radio, is Jonalee White’s fifth to reach the Top 40 on the Music Row Breakout Chart.

“This is a playful, uplifting CD that expresses women’s independence through love, work and play,” said White.

White also recently penned a deal with Musicati.com, a DIY Jukebox promotional platform giving independent artists the opportunity to harness the power of the jukebox, which has long been the backbone of country music.

White became a Brand Ambassador for Musicati.com, which will extend the reach of her new album into nearly 20,000 U.S. bar and tavern locations.

The relationship with Musicati.com positions White to own the bar waves of Musicati.com jukebox locations for three years as she continues to chart on the radio airwaves.

White is also confirmed to appear on the Musicati.com showcase stage Saturday October 23rd at the CMJ 2010 Music Marathon & Film Festival in NYC at the Ace of Clubs venue.

The CMJ Network connects music fans and music industry professionals with new music through interactive media, live events and print.

In conjunction with the album release, the Cleveland Indians AAA affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, will be offering a Sugar CD ticket package to the first 2010 people at this week’s September 2 game at which White will be singing the National Anthem.

White is currently co-headlining the “We’re America Tour,” which benefits Operation Troop Aid. You can check http://jonaleewhite.com/ for tour dates in your area.

Giving back to our service men and women has been a longstanding platform for White, who headlined her own tour for Armed Forces Entertainment throughout Europe and the Mediterranean, according to Lick Records.
