More than 2,000 dignitaries, politicians, business leaders, travel industry executives and a global online audience will view the live Royal Princess naming ceremony, which will combine the elements of this time-honored maritime custom with British traditions steeped in history, along with contemporary touches.

“The launch of the Royal Princess will honor Princess Cruises’ storied legacy while celebrating the debut of our exciting new vessel,” said Julie Benson, VP of Public Relations, Princess Cruises.

“Just as Royal Princess will captivate passengers with its casual elegance and inspire them with its evolutionary features, we are looking forward to a launch event that celebrates both our new ship and our company’s innovative spirit,” added Benson.
