Macy’s Offers Free Katy Perry Movie Tickets

To celebrate the release of the new film “Katy Perry: Part of Me” Macy’s (NYSE:M) and Paramount Pictures have partnered to bring fans nationwide the opportunity to score free tickets to the film event.

Today, June 30, at more than 650 Macy’s locations, with any purchase of $50 or more in the Macy’s MSTYLELAB departments customers will receive one ticket to the film.

Meanwhile, Paramount and Twitter have designated the hashtag #KP3D Movie Sneak, which Paramount has also sponsored as a Promoted Trend, that will point Twitter’s users to a direct link to buy tickets to the advance showings. (Read: Katy Perry Film to Debut with Twitter Fan Premieres)

“Our stores are not only destinations for the best fashions, they are also a hub for incredible entertainment experiences,” said Amy Kule, group vice president, National Events and Partnership Marketing for Macy’s.

As part of this special partnership, Katy Perry will kick-off the film’s launch with special performances on the national broadcast of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC, Wednesday, July 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, 8 p.m. PT/MT.

The 3D movie music event, “Katy Perry: Part of Me” is a backstage pass, front row seat and intimate look at the fun, glamorous, heartbreaking, inspiring, crazy, magical, passionate, and honest mad diary of Katy, it was stated.
