MCD Election: Which Party Can Save Delhi from Impending Disaster?

By Rakesh Raman

While most elections in India are fought with intense mud-slinging between the candidates, development issues never determine the fate of political parties.

However, today Delhi is in such a mess that if immediate reformatory steps are not taken by the government bosses, the city-state will soon be reduced to ruins.

The citizens of Delhi are experiencing rampant bureaucratic corruption, dwindling education standards, poisonous pollution, extreme lawlessness, and collapsed infrastructure.

The abandoned state of Delhi manifests the fact that the government has completely ignored the people and their sufferings will never end.
