Meet the GOP Presidential Hopeful Michele Bachmann

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and GOP Presidential-hopeful will address the National Press Club at a luncheon on July 28.

She will discuss government spending, the national debt and other issues of importance and lay out her case for a fundamental restructuring on the way Washington spends taxpayer dollars and ideas for turning around the economy and putting Americans back to work, according to the National Press Club.

Since Bachmann entered the 2012 Republican presidential contest she has led her fellow candidates in Iowa polls. She has publicly spoken out against raising the national debt ceiling calling it a “sign of leadership failure” and has so far, stayed away from the “Cut, Cap, Balance” pledge of others in her party, it is stated.
