News Corp Opens Its New London Headquarters

News Corp’s new headquarters in London was officially opened Tuesday by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson and News Corp executive chairman, Rupert Murdoch and chief executive, Robert Thomson.

News Corp has a 30-year lease on The News Building, which is located next to The Shard near London Bridge. The 17-story building will house some 3,400 employees of News Corp, representing Dow Jones, HarperCollins Publishers and News UK, publishers of The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun.

Some 2,400 News UK employees are currently working in The News Building, with other News Corp businesses moving in during the coming months.

News Corp is a global diversified media and information services company.
