Rapstar Coming with Kinect for Xbox 360

Konami Digital Entertainment and Autumn Games have announced that Def Jam Rapstar is now compatible with Kinect for Xbox 360, specifically offering video recording via Kinect.

Kinect is now available at more than 60,000 retailers in 38 countries. It is a controller-free games and entertainment system that lets you control games, movies, music and television with gestures and your voice.

Microsoft launched Kinect in North America on Nov. 4, followed by Europe on Nov. 10, in Asia on Nov. 18, and Japan (Nov. 20). (Read: Kinect for Xbox 360: Over 2.5 Million in 25 Days)

From the online community, players can share videos across their online social networks, battle other emcees, comment on videos, and much more.

The game also offers players the ability to freestyle over tracks by some of the hottest hip hop producers and upload freestyle performances for the world to see and judge.
