The Haunted: Hells Reach Game for PC

The Haunted: Hells Reach is a third-person survival horror shooter that uses Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3. ValuSoft, a division of THQ Inc., a leading worldwide publisher and developer of interactive entertainment software, has announced that The Haunted: Hells Reach will be available for PC at major retailers this October.

It is scheduled to be available in early 2012 as a download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and also on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system.

It is developed by the 2010 grand prize winner of the ‘$1 Million Intel Make Something Unreal Contest.’

“The winners of the contest are an extremely talented group of individuals and we are thrilled to bring their first video game to the market,” said Maleea Barnett, managing director ValuSoft Division.

“The Haunted: Hells Reach is a suspenseful thriller that delivers a rich blend of combat and action/adventure, set in eerily dark environments and is guaranteed to have horror enthusiasts and hardcore gamers at the edge of their seats throughout the entire nail-biting experience.”

In The Haunted: Hells Reach, the forces of evil plan to invade earth and only a small group of humans stand in their way. Players use a huge arsenal of deadly weapons and melee combat moves to battle the minions of hell in several different game modes. The game includes intense gameplay and multiplayer modes among other features.

The Haunted: Hells Reach is scheduled to be available for PC in October for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
