Mark Dharmai, a 30 year old differently abled resident of Bandra, Mumbai is all set to represent India in the upcoming International Para-Badminton Championships starting 24th – 29th June 2014 in England.
The International Para-Badminton Championships is one of the most important events in the BWF Para-Badminton calendar. Players will arrive in Leicestershire from as far away as Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, Peru, Guatemala and other countries in Europe.
Mark will be participating in SS6 Dwarf class in Men’s Singles & Doubles category. WWE is one of the corporate sponsors for Mark Dharmai in India and is also supporting Mark with the training along with the badminton kit including racket, shuttle, shoes and apparel.

The profile of Para-Badminton continues to rise through the success of the England Para-Badminton team and the ongoing campaign to include the sport in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
