Pop Idol Launches Dolls from The Wish Factory

Atlantic Recording Artist and Pop Idol Cody Simpson teamed up with The Wish Factory, Inc. to launch an assortment of Cody Simpson dolls, which are available exclusively at Toys”R”Us stores and online.

To celebrate the arrival of this new product, Cody Simpson unveiled two dolls and also had the chance to meet fans during a special event at Toys”R”Us Times Square.

“The Wish Factory did a tremendous job and I am amazed at how closely the doll resembles me. The clothes are modeled off actual stuff I wear, which is pretty cool,” said Cody.

“When you’re a kid and you see action figures and dolls in stores and stuff like that, you never really imagine seeing yourself there, so it’s just a dream come true to see something like this.”

The launch of the Cody Simpson doll line includes two basic dolls, both 11.5 inches. The fashion dolls look just like Cody, complete with sculpted hair resembling his signature side-swept surfer-do.

One doll features a Gold Coast Tee and Khakis, and the other doll features a rockin’ Denim Jacket and Black Pants. Both have bendable joints and each includes a pair of shoes, sunglasses, microphone, guitar pick and lanyard. The Cody Simpson basic dolls will retail for $16.99 each. The announcement was made Thursday, Dec.8.

The Wish Factory is a global product development, marketing and management company specializing in the children’s consumer product business.
