United States Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz, who has already announced his candidature for the 2016 Presidential election, today welcomed fellow Republican Senator for Kentucky Rand Paul, as he also jumped into the fray.

“I am glad to welcome my friend Rand Paul into the 2016 GOP primary. Rand is a good friend, and we have worked side by side on many issues. I respect his talent, his passion, and the work he has done for Kentuckians and Americans in the U.S. Senate,” Cruz posted on his Facebook page.

“His entry into the race will no doubt raise the bar of competition, help make us all stronger, and ultimately ensure that the GOP nominee is equipped to beat Hillary Clinton and to take back the White House for Republicans in 2016,” Cruz suggested.

Meanwhile, GOP is demanding Hillary turn over her secret email server for full review by independent investigators.

Questions are being raised about Hillary Clinton’s practice of using her own private email address and server instead of using the official email facility during her stint as Secretary of State.

In a Facebook post, Paul said Monday it’s time for a different kind of Republican to take on Washington!
