Candles Coming with New Holiday Fragrances

The Yankee Candle Company, a leading designer, manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer of premium scented candles, has announced its new fragrances for holiday 2011.

The company says shoppers embrace the holiday spirit each year by burning the traditional winter classic fragrances: Balsam & Cedar, Christmas Cookie and Sparking Cinnamon. This holiday season, it says, Yankee Candle offers three new ways to celebrate the season with: Cherries on Snow, Mountain Berry and Christmas Rose.

They are available for purchase at Yankee Candle retail stores, specialty retailers and gift shops across the U.S. and via www.yankeecandle.com.

“We are proud to be a part of the holiday tradition for so many families,” said Hope Margala Klein, senior vice president, brand, design and innovation for The Yankee Candle Company, Inc.

“Our holiday classic fragrances bring cheer to the homes and hearts of our customers as well as their friends and families. This year’s new scents provide a twist on holiday fragrance which we hope will inspire the start of new seasonal traditions!”

Three new scents to complement the holiday classics:

Cherries on Snow – An enchanted, sparkling blend of bright, juicy cherries with sweet almonds and an icy freshness. This is a “fresh snow” alternative for the holidays.

Mountain Berry – Inspired by nature … the wintry crisp scent of frosty woods, red berries, currant and rosemary.

Christmas Rose – Holiday memories bloom in the authentic perfume of delicate rose petals with a hint of pine.

The new fragrances are available beginning October 2011 at $25.99 MSRP for classic large jar. It was announced today, Oct. 11.
