Daughtry’s Outta My Head on American Idol

Multi-platinum rock band Daughtry will debut its new single “Outta My Head” during the March 15 episode of Fox’s American Idol. It is the third single of the band’s third album, Break The Spell, and the follow-up to the album’s previous chart-climbing hits “Crawling Back To You” and “Renegade.”

Daughtry is also announcing a second round of dates for its “Break The Spell 2012 Tour,” which kicks off March 20 in Buffalo, NY and continues through May 1st in New York, NY.

Shortly after, the band will begin the second leg of its intimate theater tour, starting on May 10 in Indianapolis, IN and wrapping on June 13 in Austin, TX.

For all dates of the tour, the band will help combat Africa’s battle against malaria by donating $1 from every ticket sold to Malaria No More, a leading humanitarian organization determined to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.

Daughtry is pleased to welcome special guest Nashville-based pop rock group SafetySuit whose new album These Times debuted No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Opening the show is singer-songwriter Mike Sanchez.

“Just a few more weeks in rehearsal and then we finally get to deliver Break The Spell live to our fans,” says singer Chris Daughtry.

RCA Records made this announcement today, Feb. 28.
