How to Make Wedding Dress with Toilet Paper

After weeks of hard work and anticipation, Lake Orchard, Michigan native – Susan Brennan – was named the winner of the Eighth Annual Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, presented by Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com and sponsored in part by Procter & Gamble (P&G) brand Charmin.

Final judging took place Wednesday at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square Odditorium, where Brennan received a check for $2,012.

With over 700 entries this year, participants were required to construct their wedding dresses out of nothing more than Charmin toilet paper, tape, glue and/or needle and thread.

Contest host Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com, which operates as a money-saving website for brides-to-be, began the annual contest eight years ago based on the popular bridal shower game. As the contest has increased in popularity from year to year, so has the level of competition, says the company.
