Hyundai’s ‘First Ball’ for ICC World T20 Cricket

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, the official partner for International Cricket Council (ICC) handed over the ‘First Ball’ on Sunday for the ICC World T20 2014.

Hyundai holds the exclusive rights for the First Ball Handover before the opening match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

As many as 35 men’s and 25 women’s tournament matches will be played across Chittagong, Dhaka and Sylhet in the 22-day tournament, taking place from March 16 to April 6.

At the ceremony, the set of First Balls were handed over by Aashish Bhardwaj, assistant general manager–Advertisement, HMIL to the ICC Umpires Nigel Llong and Richard Illingworth at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Hyundai informs about its association with ICC for all cricketing events as an official partner till 2015.

With the handover of the ‘First Ball’ for the ICC World T20 2014, the cricket fans get a unique experience to connect with Hyundai and the tournament, believes the company.
