Kia Launches Soul Urban Passenger Vehicle

Kia Motors America (KMA) launched Tuesday the refreshed 2012 Soul urban passenger vehicle, which was introduced three years ago. The hatchback returns to the Kia lineup with a fresh and updated look.

Fine tuned for 2012 with technology and powertrain enhancements, the 2012 Soul now delivers better horsepower and improved fuel efficiency of up to 35 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway, says the company.

Earlier, Kia announced a new advertising campaign for its Soul urban passenger vehicle. The 60-second “Share Some Soul” spot made its television debut in August during the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and then went on to movie screens. (Read: Kia Ad to Share Some Soul on MTV Show)

All Soul models are improved with redesigned and upgraded interiors, better noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) reduction qualities, a refined ride and new standard features, including a tilt and telescoping steering column, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC).
