Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari said Sunday that it is really shocking to see that due to callousness of Arvind Kejriwal government there have been unprecedented high numbers of deaths of homeless people on Delhi roads this winter.
Tiwari quoted reports of around 170 deaths in the month of December. He claimed that he has been going around Delhi during the past 2 days in late hours of night offering blankets to those sleeping on roads.

The BJP leader said Kejriwal used the issue of support to homeless as a electoral tactic. But in the past 3 years especially this year Delhi Government has failed to give relief to homeless, Tiwari added.
Kejriwal has ignored BJP’s allegations and said “Merry Christmas.”

The night shelters are too congested and filthy and there is no report of government caring for those forced to sleep on roads, Tiwari said.
