Although it may be a pure hypothesis, the possibility cannot be ruled out that the Russian spies are already controlling the White House and secretly holding Trump and his family members as hostages.

In an explosive statement, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said today that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be controlling President Donald Trump.

Pelosi issued the statement after special counsel Robert Mueller released a seven-count indictment of top Trump campaign advisor Roger Stone, for lying to Congress, witness tampering, and obstruction of justice.

“In the face of 37 indictments, the President’s continued actions to undermine the special counsel investigation raise the questions: what does Putin have on the President, politically, personally or financially? Why has the Trump Administration continued to discuss pulling the U.S. out of NATO, which would be a massive victory for Putin?” Pelosi said in her statement issued today.

During his 2 years as President, Trump has taken some weird decisions that seem to favor Putin and Russia. These include verbal attacks on NATO, announcement to withdraw U.S. soldiers from Syria, friendship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, pulling out from the Iran deal, reluctance to impose sanctions on Russia, and so on.

Although it may be a pure hypothesis, the possibility cannot be ruled out that the Russian spies are already controlling the White House and secretly holding Trump and his family members as hostages. Now, therefore, Trump is acting as he is being directed by the Russians.

“The indictment of Roger Stone makes clear that there was a deliberate, coordinated attempt by top Trump campaign officials to influence the 2016 election and subvert the will of the American people. It is staggering that the President has chosen to surround himself with people who violated the integrity of our democracy and lied to the FBI and Congress about it,” the Pelosi statement added.

Pelosi asserted that the Mueller investigation is working, and the House will continue to exercise its constitutional oversight responsibility and ensure that the investigation can continue free from interference from the White House.

Currently, Mueller is leading a judicial team to know the extent of Trump-Russia ties that allegedly helped Trump win the 2016 presidential race.

Although Roger Stone had ostensibly left the Trump campaign during August 2015, his associates claimed that he had collaborated with WikiLeaks boss Julian Assange in early 2016 to release damaging information to discredit Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Stone was arrested Friday from his home in Florida in connection with Mueller’s investigation, and later released on $250,000 bail.
