“मेरा देश बदल रहा है…आगे बढ़ रहा है”

“मेरा देश बदल रहा है…आगे बढ़ रहा है” or My country is transforming…and progressing. These are the opening words of the new song that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) introduced today to celebrate two years of its rule in India.

In a couple of minutes, the song tells the story of the Narendra Modi government and highlights its achievements including education of girls, insurance of farmers’ crops, bank accounts for the poor, bridging of the urban-rural divide, and employment opportunities for the youth.

The Modi government also is planning a two-week celebration beginning May 26 to inform Indians about the performance of the BJP team headed by Modi.
