Lea Michele: L’Oreal Paris New Brand Ambassador

L’Oreal Paris has announced award-winning actress Lea Michele as the brand’s newest ambassador.  Lea’s talent took her from Broadway to the big screen where she stole the hearts of Americans on Glee as a show stopping soprano Rachel Berry.

At just eight years old, Lea made her professional debut as Young Cosette in the classic Broadway production Les Miserables.

Since then, she has shared the stage with Broadway greats in Ragtime, Fiddler on the Roof and Spring Awakening, earning herself a Drama Desk Award nomination for “Outstanding Actress in a Musical” for her role in Spring Awakening.

“I feel very honored to be working with L’Oreal Paris,” says Lea Michele.

Meanwhile, L’Oreal USA Women in Digital recognized five women leading digital companies that focus on how technology is revolutionizing the beauty industry. Also, L’Oreal Paris announced “My L’Oreal Colorist,” a mobile app that serves as a personal color consultant. The company suggests now women can finally skip the salon while still experiencing professionally inspired hair color results at home with one app download. “I am thrilled that Lea joins our roster of amazing spokespersons. In just a few years, her incredible talent has made her one of the most popular young actresses in a TV series,” says Cyril Chapuy, L’Oreal Paris global brand president.

Today, Lea joins the L’Oreal Paris Spokespersons family, including Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, Julianna Margulies, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell, Freida Pinto and Aimee Mullins, among others.

Lea Michele will debut in TV and print advertising campaigns for the leading global beauty brand beginning in the United States in early 2013. L’Oreal Paris made this announcement today, Sept. 18.
