The Porsche Cayenne range is now expanded to include a Turbo S model with 550 hp, an increase of 50 hp from the Cayenne Turbo.

The new Cayenne Turbo S sport utility vehicle employs advanced active chassis technologies.

These technologies allow it to surpass the driving performance of many sports cars, while preserving the off-road capability, ride comfort and towing ability typical of the Cayenne, says the company.

The Cayenne Turbo S is scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2013 and is priced from $146,000 not including a $975 destination charge.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), based in Atlanta, Ga. is the exclusive U.S. importer of Porsche sports cars, the Cayenne SUV and Panamera sports sedan.

Established in 1984, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG, which is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
