According to the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi will then meet civil society members to hear their issues. This will be followed by a public meeting ‘Sangharsh Sabha‘.

In 2017 so far, according to Congress, 580 farmers committed suicide in the state. The government’s loan waiver scheme has been completely rejected by protesting farmers, and the enforcement of online applications have left the farmers in a fix, Congress stated.

Mr. Gandhi, according to Congress, strives to address everyone’s concerns and appeal to the government to direct its attention to the plight of the agriculturists.
