“Spud Potato Vodka imported from Poland is rolling out nationally in the US and Canada after a successful regional launch during the 4th quarter of 2012,” said Norman Schwartz, managing partner of Spud Partners LLC.
Spud Vodka is stated to be 100% all-natural gluten-free potato vodka distilled five times for a clean, smooth taste with a soft vanilla note.
According to the company, Spud was awarded 93 points from Wilford Wong, Cellar Master at BevMo, and the Ultimate Beverage Challenge ranked Spud Ginger Lemongrass as one of the top three flavored vodkas in 2013.
“The vodka category is fueled by flavors mostly in the value segment. Spud is an elegant imported Polish vodka launching into a new flavor frontier at the high-end of the vodka category featuring Spud Ginger Lemongrass, Red Hot Chili Pepper, and Heirloom Tomato,” said Schwartz.
The announcement was made Monday, June 10.
