Foreign Powers Infecting the White House Like Malware: Kamala Harris

Democratic Senator Kamala Harris, who officially kicked off her campaign in Oakland California on Sunday for 2020 U.S. presidential election, said that the American dream and American democracy are under attack and on the line like never before.

“We must answer a fundamental question: Who are we as Americans?” she said in her campaign launch rally. Referring to Russian interference in American democratic affairs and President Trump’s inexplicable affinity with Russia and President Vladimir Putin, Harris said foreign powers are infecting the White House like malware.

The term malware refers to a secret software program used mischievously to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a computer system.

Her comments come close on the heels of Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s observations when she said last week that Putin may be controlling President Trump. It is being conjectured that the Russian spies are already controlling the White House and secretly holding Trump and his family members as hostages. Now, therefore, Trump is acting as he is being directed by the Russians.

Kamala Harris targeted Trump who, she said, is attacking the media and the democratic institutions. “We have leaders who lie, bully, attack a free press, and undermine our democratic institutions. That’s not our America,” she stated.

Harris added that she is running to fight for Medicare for all, debt-free college, and to guarantee middle-class families a pay increase of up to $500 per month with the largest working-class tax cut in decades — paid for by reversing Trump Administration’s gifts to big corporations and the top 1%.

She also said that too many unarmed black men and women are being killed and too many black and brown Americans are locked up. “From mass incarceration to cash bail to policing, our criminal justice system needs drastic repair,” she suggested.

Regarding climate change, Harris said that climate change is real and it’s happening now. “From wildfires in the west to hurricanes in the east to floods and droughts in America’s heartland, we must speak this truth based on science fact, not science fiction,” she said.
