The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, said today that politicians need to have high quality debates in the Parliament.

Modi was speaking outside the Parliament ahead of the Monsoon Session of 2016. He said this year 15th August will be a major milestone to commemorate the 70th year of India’s independence.

This session is significant as it begins just ahead of 15th August when we remember the great freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the country, Modi said.
