Schueco to Sponsor the Princess in Sweden

Schueco is expanding its activities in international golf. The focus: promoting future generations. Recently, Schueco became the new presenting sponsor of “The Princess,” a European Challenge Tour tournament called into being by Henrik Stenson in 2009.

Stenson is a Schueco brand ambassador and a golfer. One of his concerns is to support young golfers and prepare them for the future. The tournament will take place from June 30 to July 3, 2011 in Bara in southern Sweden near Malmo.

Another highlight within the framework of the event is the Charity Challenge on July 4, in which Stenson will compete against Martin Kaymer, the current number two in the world and also a member Schueco’s brand ambassador team.

Henrik Stenson remarked: “As a father of two children and someone who grew up with the Challenge Tour, I’m very pleased to see that the tournament is growing. I’m very happy that a company like Schueco is helping us foster young athletes as golfers and as personalities. Together, ‘The Princess’ and Schueco are taking responsibility to make our future a little better.”
