DigiNext to Release A Miracle In Spanish Harlem

DigiNext, the In-Venue Film Festival, a joint venture between Digiplex Destinations (NASDAQ CM: DCIN) and Nehst Media Enterprises, announces the theatrical release of A Miracle In Spanish Harlem.

The movie opens at select theaters across the country (U.S.) on Dec. 6 . The film will also be presented as a Screenvision special event on Dec. 10 at more than 100 partner cinemas in Screenvision’s 14,000+ theater footprint.

A Miracle In Spanish Harlem is DigiNext’s first feature-length drama. It’s a family-friendly and magical story about love, faith and redemption. The movie has a Latin flavor, but its themes are universal, says the company.

It features acclaimed Latin American film and telenovela star Kate del Castillo in her first English speaking cinematic lead. Daughter of Mexican film and television legend, Eric Del Castillo, Kate portrays Eva O’Riley.

Beautiful and alone, Eva feels a spark of romantic interest when she meets Tito (Luis Antonio Ramos), a widower struggling with the loss of his wife, his hope and his faith.

On the afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 10, fans can participate in a free event featuring a look at behind-the-scenes footage and a live-by-Skype question and answer session with the film’s director, Derek Velez Partridge, Kate del Castillo, Luis Antonio Ramos, Fatima Ptacek, Adrian Martinez and other members of the cast exclusively at Digiplex Destinations theaters.
