“Being a romantic film I needed melodies that will leave a lasting impact on the audience. Much of the music today, with few exceptions, cannot be recalled even two weeks after a film is released, and there is generally a mandate for an item number,” said director Aron Govil.

“The very thought of including an item number never crossed my mind right from day one, and I really wanted that melodious and enchanting music that most people, I know, still crave for.”

The announcement was made Monday, July 25.
