Wanna Taste Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger?

The Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger is coming to restaurants over the next two weeks – by July 4. It will be available in all North American (U.S. and Canada) Wendy’s restaurants.

Wendy’s pretzel buns are made using the same authentic process of traditional soft pretzels, giving them a rich interior flavor and a chewy, rich crust that enhances the entire Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. Each pretzel bun is also hand cut, giving each one its own special appearance.

“Wendy’s knows food trends. We tapped into consumers’ love of pretzels, and transformed the iconic snack into an artisan-crafted cheeseburger,” said Craig Bahner, Wendy’s chief marketing officer.

“We constantly search for foods that customers crave, and we’ve created the ultimate mash-up of three American loves – Pretzels, Bacon and Cheeseburgers – to deliver new standards of quality and taste.”

The pretzel bacon cheeseburger combines a fresh, spring mix made with nine different greens, hand-sliced red onion and tomatoes with 100 percent fresh, never frozen hot and juicy beef and warm cheddar cheese sauce.

Natural cheddar cheese, Sweet & Smoky Honey Mustard, and thick, center-cut Applewood Smoked bacon round out this flavor-filled cheeseburger — all carefully enveloped in the signature toasted pretzel bun. The recommended price is $4.69.

The Wendy’s Company is stated to be the world’s third largest quick-service hamburger company. Its system includes more than 6,500 franchise and Company restaurants in the United States and 27 countries and U.S. territories worldwide.
