Canton Fair Opening Gateway to China Trade

Participants at the Canton Fair, set to open on October 15, can look forward to a range of events and services designed to make their experience in Guangzhou comfortable, informative and profitable, say the show organizers.

The 55th anniversary of China’s leading trade event also coincides with the 10-year anniversary of China’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), and a forum will be held to celebrate this occasion.

“Over the last decade China has made significant progress in opening up its market and developing crucial business ties with international business partners,” says Wang Zhiping, Secretary General of the Fair.

“There have been tough times, but the evolution and continued success of this event epitomizes this progress.”

Over 1 million buyers have been invited to the 110th session of the Canton Fair, with companies from both emerging and developed markets showing keen interest in participation, it was stated.
