Get Ready to Taste the Indian Tablet Beetel Magiq

The new tablet claims to have all the bells and whistles that come with a high-end device and it aims to target Indian buyers. Beetel Teletech, India’s leading manufacturer and distributor of telecom and allied products, has introduced Beetel Magiq, an Android 2.2 tablet for the Indian market.

It comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 (about US$ 220).

According to the company, Beetel Magiq with sim calling feature has a 7.0” WVGA screen, 2 MP front and rear camera and 8GB internal memory expandable to 16 GB.

The device, which has a 2200 mAh battery for long battery life, supports Wi-Fi and 3G. Its 1 Ghz processor promises to run multimedia applications including an array of Android apps.

“With Beetel Magiq, Indian customers can access their dream world to support their professional as well as entertainment needs,” said Vinod Sawhny, CEO, Beetel Teletech, a Bharti Enterprises Group company.
