Search is On for America’s Most Desperate Landscape

Homeowners who think they have the country’s ugliest front yard have two more weeks to share their photos and video on DIYNetwork.com for a chance to receive a $25,000 makeover.

The fifth annual Search for America’s Most Desperate Landscape ends on Monday, April 30. DIY Network will choose the worst front yard offender to be visited by licensed contractor Jason Cameron and the Desperate Landscapes crew and be featured in a one-hour special airing in July.

Homeowners who need help with their backyard can also turn to DIY Network this spring. The newest addition to the network’s landscaping lineup is half-hour series Yardcore, premiering Tuesday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET.

Landscape professionals Jake and Joel Moss set homeowners up with the yard of a lifetime. After getting a quick tour of the yard and a five minute tour of the homeowner’s interior to get clues, they make it all happen in 48 hours…without ever meeting the homeowner until the dramatic reveal.
