What PM Modi Told President Mukherjee: Read the Letter

The former President of India Pranab Mukherjee has shared a letter from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, received on his last day in office as President of India.

The term of President Mukherjee expired on July 24. Ram Nath Kovind has been elected the new President of India.

Modi said in his letter that he and Mukherjee belonged to different political parties but could work together with synergy.

“Your legacy will continue to guide us,” Modi stated.
