General James Jones and Ambassador Clifford Sobel introduced the US Welcome Pavilion at a special reception at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Washington, DC.

Partner organizations and the Chamber’s Brazil-U.S. Business Council members were invited to learn about different sponsorship opportunities at the US Welcome Pavilion debuting at the Rio Summer Games August 5-21, 2016.

Those in attendance heard from General James Jones as well as representatives from both the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the US Welcome Pavilion.

Participation in the US Welcome Pavilion will provide an inclusive environment to promote global innovation, products and services, build corporate and government relationships, promote tourism, and stimulate trade and economic development.

The US Welcome Pavilion presents a first of its kind opportunity for a wide variety of groups to enjoy a high-profile presence at the 2016 Rio Summer Games.

The Pavilion offers a unique platform for partners to showcase products and services while providing guests with exclusive access to this international experience.
