Coca-Cola Goes with BET for Music Artists

Coca-Cola teams up with Black Entertainment Television (BET) and rapper B.o.B this month to offer amateur talent rare and exclusive opportunities to shine in the spotlight.

As part of its “Perfect Harmony” music platform, Coca-Cola has signed on, for the fourth consecutive year, as the exclusive sponsor of BET’s “Wild Out Wednesday”, during the summer, on the network’s program, “106 & Park.”

Till August 29, it will set the stage as amateur artists battle their way to music stardom. Coca-Cola will also up the ante this year and reward the All-Star Series MVP with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with Rebel Rock/Atlantic recording artist and producer, B.o.B, live on “106 & Park” in the fall. It marks the first time that a “Wild Out Wednesday” winner will have received such an honor.

“Performing on ‘106 & Park’ is an experience of a lifetime for any artist. Today, it could be ‘Wild Out Wednesday,’ tomorrow it could be No. 1 on the countdown. I’m so excited Coca-Cola asked me to be a part of this process and the Perfect Harmony program,” said B.o.B as he appeared live from the “106 & Park” studios to announce his partnership with the brand.

Coca-Cola continues to have exclusive ownership of the “Viewers Choice Award” at the BET AWARDS. This year, the company will also sponsor the “BET Awards Ultimate Fan Contest,” offering one lucky viewer an all-expense paid trip for two to Los Angeles and an opportunity to appear on the show to co-present this year’s “Viewers Choice Award.”

Viewers can visit www.bet.com to vote for their favorite artist through July 1. The BET AWARDS 12 airs live from Los Angeles, Sunday, July 1.
