To protest against the slaughtering of a Calf by Kerala Congress workers the Delhi BJP’s Yuva Morcha workers held a protest march from New Delhi’s Mansingh Road to Akbar Road on Tuesday.

They also held a demonstration and burned effigies of Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi near Congress Headquarters.

Yuva Morcha workers led by their State President Sunil Yadav organized a special Puja of a calf at Taj Mansingh Hotel roundabout as a mark of respect for the revered cows.

The police tried to stop them near Kapurthala House but the workers broke the police barricade and marched on to Akbar Road where a with heavy deployment of force and use of water cannon Delhi Police managed to stop the further march.

Yuva Morcha workers demanded arrest of Kerala Congress leaders involved in calf slaughtering and apology from Sonia Gandhi over the incident.

Sunil Yadav said that this issue of calf killing is attached to the emotions of all Indians and the demonstration is not for a political cause but for a social objective.
