LG TV for Sundance Film Festival Music Lodge

LG Electronics USA is working with the Music Lodge at the Sundance Film Festival to create an exclusive lounge where VIP attendees can watch the conference championship football games on LG’s 100-inch class (100 inches measured diagonally) Laser TV.

All day on Sunday, Jan. 19, guests were invited to cheer on the remaining playoff teams vying for a spot in the “Big Game” early next month in New Jersey.

“With a massive 100-inch class screen and FULL HD picture quality, our Laser TV is perfect for sports and large viewing parties,” said Kyle Kiang, director of home entertainment brand marketing, LG Electronics USA. “In the spirit of the festival we wanted to offer attendees a cinematic way to enjoy the games on Sunday.”

In addition to the playoff on Sunday, the LG Music Lodge will host performances throughout the Festival (Jan. 16 – 26, 2014) by various artists who will use LG’s 100-inch class Laser TV as a backdrop display for music videos to the exclusive crowd.

In its 10 years at Sundance, the Music Lodge has become an outlet for celebrities and music fans to hang out by the fireplace or step onto the stage for an impromptu performance.

Expected celebrity guests include Kate Hudson, Zach Braff, Aubrey Plaza, Jesse Eisenberg, Anna Kendrick, Rooney Mara, Shailene Woodley, Lance Bass, Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, amongst others.

The LG Laser TV is on sale now through select retailers at the suggested retail price of $8,999.
