Scotty McCreery, I Love You This Big

Scotty McCreery has made country music history with his first single, “I Love You This Big,” which has the highest-charting debut for a new artist in more than two decades, claims Interscope Records.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way has become the fastest-selling album of the year around the world. With 288,000 copies sold its first day (May 23) and 1,108,000 its first week in the U.S., Born This Way has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart, the first Lady Gaga album to debut at the top spot. (Read: Lady Gaga’s Album Sells 2,000,000 Copies in a Week)
