Over the course of her 20-plus-year-career, according to Macy’s, Kylie Minogue has been a global force in pop music and is one of the world’s most successful female artists with more than 60 million albums sold worldwide, 50 hit singles and 11 studio albums.
Her most recent release, Aphrodite, entered the top 10 in thirteen different countries. It became Kylie’s fifth UK #1 album and made her the first solo artist in the history of the UK charts to have four #1 albums in four different decades.
Aphrodite has spawned back to back #1 U.S. Billboard Club singles with “All The Lovers” and “Get Outta My Way.”
On Parade day, Kylie will perform a song from her album Aphrodite on the new Homewood Suites by Hilton On The Roll Again float. The float, based on the wonder of wooden pull toys features a colorful and adorable family of ducks, literally in a Parade.
With the final completion of the float performance roster, the 2010 Macy’s Parade includes an impressive list of artists spanning different musical genres and generations.
From country to pop, Spanish-rock to folk and rap, the Parade will feature a star-studded list of artists for millions to enjoy, says Macy’s.
