John Kelly Fails to Control Trump and His Tweets

John Kelly is expected to soon quit as Trump will make working environment difficult for him, as he had done for Kelly’s predecessor Reince Priebus who was forced to resign last month.

Donald Trump’s new chief of staff, John Kelly, was supposed to tame Trump who is responsible for the ongoing chaos in the White House with his random rhetoric and obnoxious tweets.

However, in just a week of his appointment, Kelly seems to have thrown in the towel as Trump has once again gone berserk on Twitter.

Trump who is vacationing these days unleashed today a series of repulsive tweets attacking the media and his political opponents. Senator Richard Blumenthal is Trump’s main target today.

“Never in U.S. history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Senator Richard Blumenthal. He told stories about his Vietnam battles and conquests, how brave he was, and it was all a lie. He cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?” Trump said in his loose tweet, adding that Blumenthal is talking now about hoax Russian collusion.

Earlier, on Saturday, the Connecticut Senator had said that with broad mandate, Special Counsel Robert Mueller must pursue all financial dealings—past and present—involving Russians and Trump campaign. He also said that Trump’s bullying hasn’t worked before and it won’t work now. “No one is above the law,” Blumenthal stated in his tweet.

Trump also accused the media once again. He said despite the fake news, his base is getting stronger.
